HUD Rule Would Revise the HUDAR

The Department of Housing and Urban Development has issued a proposed rule that would make a number of miscellaneous amendments to its acquisition regulations. The rule would remove obsolete provisions, update provisions that address the organizational structure of HUD, refine the provisions for approving requests for deviation from the HUDAR, and add provisions on contractor record retention. A complete list of the many HUDAR provisions affected by this rule appears in the regulation table below. Comments on the proposed rule are due May 15, 2012. For the text of the rule, see ¶71,460.03.
